| | | | | Race Information | | Description: | | | | | 5K chip timed run at beautiful, historic St. James Farm on a certified rolling woodlands course to raise money for research on Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD).
SCAD is a poorly understood and relatively rare cause of a heart attack and sometimes death which affects a younger, otherwise healthy population. SCAD occurs when a split or separation suddenly develops between the layers of the wall of one of the blood vessels (artery) that provides blood flow to the heart.
Goal is to raise money to help fund SCAD research at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) | | | | |
