| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | The Fischer Family Fun Run is being sponsored by the Fischer Middle School PTSA in order to promote wellness, while teaching our children that running and physical fitness can be fun.
THE RACE: The race is a USATF certified 5K run which starts at the Oakhurst Community Park while following the beautiful and tranquil Waubonsie Trail and Lake.
PRICING: Early Bird Registration:
5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk Before March 15, 2014 – $20
5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk After March 15, 2014 - $30
Race Day – $40
Student (14 and Under):
5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk Before March 15, 2014 – $10
5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk After March 15, 2014 – $15
Race Day - $20
PARKING: Parking is available at the clubhouse plus additional parking is available at the Eola Community Center.
POST RACE CELEBRATION: All runners are invited to join us at a Post Race Party following the race which will include food, beverage and music.
SPONSOR EXPOSITION: While mingling at the Post Race Party please, be sure to visit our Sponsor Exposition featuring demonstrations and maybe a freebie or a giveaway from our sponsors.
RAFFLE/PRIZE DRAWING: Our Sponsors have donated a generous amount of prizes that will be given away during the post-race party! Included with their registration fee, all registrants are to receive one entry into the drawing. Prizes in the past have included: spa days, gift certificates to local restaurants, gift baskets and an electronic device or two.
