This 5K course is perfect for first time runners and will challenge experienced ones. Walkers are certainly welcome, as well!
Be the first to cross the finish line and your name will be the first one on the trophy that will be on display in town for all to see!
Mission
Karen’s Closet is a charity started with the simple goal of making sure that the students of the city of Leominster that needed winter coats, would have them. Over the last four years, this organization has provided over $13,000 in warm clothing for the community’s most vulnerable members and has the hopes and aspirations to achieve much more. Karen’s Closet aims to provide every student of need and every teacher in the district with the necessary tools and basic support to enhance their academic success.

Number Pick Up
Number pick up will be available Friday, September 26 from 3:30pm - 8pm in Northwest Elementary School’s gym. Numbers will also be available for pick up on race day from 7:30am until 8:45am
Day of Registration
Registration will be available at 7:30am on race day in the gym at Northwest Elementary School
Parking
Parking will be available in the school’s parking lot
Water Stop
There is one water stop on the 3.1 mile course

Course Description
Leominster’s Johnny Appleseed Jaunt to benefit Karen’s Closet is a 5k Run/Walk that begins at 9:00am, starting and finishing at Northwest Elementary School, 45 Stearns Ave, Leominster. The course is a fairly flat 3.1 miles (5k), with one decline after the midway point. Prizes to top male/female finishers. Runners and walkers welcome and for safety purposes, no skateboards, headphones, rollerblades/skates, bicycles, or animals can be taken on the course. Chip timing provided. | | | | |
