Description:
THE CAUSE. Run and Remember is a run/walk to raise awareness about hospice. We encourage all participants to run/walk in memory of a loved one. All proceeds from this event will support services for people with a life limiting illness and their families in our five county area. What is so special about this race is THE COURSE. The LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course is "one of the most spectator friendly distance running courses in the world". It is also the site of the NCAA Div.1 Championship Cross Country Event as well as the Nike Team Regional Event. This is the ONLY publicly held event on this course!

Event details and schedule
The 1 Mile Walk/Kid's Fun Run will begin at 11:00 am
The 5K Run/Walk & 10k Run begins at 11:30 am.
Shirts are guaranteed with pre-registration, T-shirt for the 1 mile Walk/Kid's Fun Run; Dri-Fit shirt for 5K and 10K participants.
