| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Experience an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the world famous backlot not from a tram, but with your own two feet! The chip-timed 10K/5K Race and 5K Fun Run/Walk (there is no 10K Walk) course will wind you through the backlot, over blacktop on flat ground, up and down several steep hills, and through the Bates Motel & Psycho House, Jaws Lake, Little Mexico, New York Street, Whoville, War of the Worlds, and more.
Everyone is a winner when young ones have the opportunity to run along with some of their favorite characters when they participate in our Kiddie Fun Run!
Location
Situated in the heart of Universal City, the Universal Studios Hollywood Backlot is recognized as the oldest and most famous Hollywood movie studio still in use. We return, rain or shine, to the famous backlot for our annual Holiday Classic. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to cheer you on as you race to set a personal record. Free parking (with shuttle to the event plaza) and amazing vendor booths await.

Free Parking
FREE Parking is located at Gate 3 in the 2160 parking structure. Shuttles will take you through the backlot to the race area. Please arrive early to allow time for shuttle.

Fees
5K/10K registration rate is $40
Kiddie Fun Run registration rate is $25
There will be NO race day registration.
Race is CAPPED this year.

Race Schedule
6:00 AM Check-in/Packet Pick-up
7:30 AM Competitive Race Starts 10K/5K
8:15 AM 5K Fun Run/Walk
9:00 AM Kiddie Fun Run (ages 2 8)
Note: course & schedule is subject to change.
Race Awards
Top Finisher medals will be awarded to the first three finishers of the 10K & 5K Races female and male. Top three finishers for each Age Group (female and male) will be awarded special Age Group medals. Finisher medals will be awarded to all registered participants.
Packet Pick-up/Pre-Registration
Come to our Packet Pick-Up & Pre-Registration event on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 10 AM to 6 PM at A Runners Circle Running Shop. You can also pick up your packet on race day starting at 6 AM.
