| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Combine competition and compassion and help support a great cause this May 23rd! The Foundation for the Higher Good is hosting a 5K Walk or Run/5 Mile Race to raise funds for a milk program based in an impoverished region of Guatemala. Proceeds will directly benefit our efforts to eradicate child malnutrition in the town of Chichicastenango, where the native Mayan population is still is recovering from a 30-year genocide. We are already able to serve hundreds of families, but are eager to serve more!
Donated gifts will be available as prizes for top runners of both races! There will be 6 age groups (under 18, 18-25, 26-35, so on by decade until 55+), and packet pick-up will be at the race location the evening before the event (April 22nd, 2015) from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. Runners who register early are guaranteed a sleek and snazzy T-Shirt. This is one of the ONLY 5 Mile premiere races in the Columbia area, so don't hold back!
