| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Remember running as a child? You didn't stay on the sidewalk - you ran across fields and into the woods, up hills and through creeks. You didn't wear a Garmin or worry about your training program. You were free.
Training program Starts June 3 at 6pm!!
Where the Sidewalk Ends seeks to bring you back to the simple joy of running and nature. Each week, we will explore different trails in beautiful Comlara Park, while giving helpful (we hope!) advice and answering your questions about all things trail. We will break into groups according to pace and distance that runners want to go. We will provide an experienced leader for each group, and trails will be marked. We'll also set out water and GatorAde depending on the length of the run and the weather. We welcome runners of all abilities and experience levels. All that is required is a sense of adventure.
This program makes a perfect lead-in to our summer race, Fisherman's Trail. We'll even run sections of the course so you have "insider knowledge"! Once you register for Sidewalk, we'll email you a coupon code for a discount for registration for Fisherman's Trail on July 18th. | | | | |
