| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | The 2nd Annual JT’s 5K Run for Melanoma awareness and research. This event has been started in memory of Jerry Trone who lost his battle to melanoma in August 2009. Melanoma is the most serious kind of skin cancer. Approximately 10, 000 people are expected to die from melanoma in 2015. This event is to make everyone aware of how to be preventative and hopefully raise money to help researchers find a cure.
The event will take place on the Peoria Riverfront Trail. It will start and end at New Amsterdam and will be followed by music, brunch, and drinks. Please join us for fun and contribute to a significant cause! | | | | |
