| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | The Monsters Brew Run is a Halloween themed road race for the whole family. The event will consist of a 6K and 12K for the big monsters (adults), and Kid races for the little monsters (kids). The Kid races will consist of a 100 yard dash, a 200 yard dash, and a ¼ mile run, we ask that our parents join the little monsters during any of the little monster races. Safety is our highest priority. The 6K and 12K will have entertainment along the course, along with a couple different “Haunted Area’s” that will be family friendly, all promoting a good time. There will be water stops along the course spread out about every mile. This event is to promote health, fitness, and the sport of running/walking all while having a great time with your friends and the whole family! Top three overall fastest times (who do not have high school or college eligibility) for male and female runners in the 6K and 12K will receive cash prizes, while top three in each age group will win customized Pint Glasses. Each individual will receive a limited edition Monsters Brew tech-shirt.
The post race party will consist of post race snacks, refreshments, (water, pop, beer from local micro breweries on hand if you are 21), hot dogs, s'mores, a costume contest for the kids, a trunk or treat for the kids, and the awards ceremony.
