Description:
A 5k race beginning with the Manhattan Irish Fest Parade on March 4, 2017 put on by the Prairie State Roadrunners. We will start the race at the start of the 23rd annual Manhattan Irish Fest Parade, and finish near the Beer/Entertainment tent, where runners will enjoy a free beer and great Irish music!!!

We will have a packet pickup Friday at Gallagher's Pub (160 E. North St, Manhattan, IL) from 4-8pm, for those who wish to get their buttons early to attend Irish Fest on Friday. This is a point to point race, runners can park in the Metra Station (15601 W.Sweedler) parking lot and a shuttle bus will run from 9-10:30am to the start line. Race day registration and packet pickup will be at the Metra Parking lot from 9-10:30am. Please plan on arriving early to allow time to get to the start, as you will be parking in a remote location. Registration is limited so sign up early to guarantee entry and a race shirt!

Race will be chip timed and USATF certified (#IL15029NM)

NEW for 2017, this race is a CARA-certified emerging race!
