| | | | | Race Information | | Description: | | | | | 500 MILE Trail Run. Rugged 10 mile loop in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Runners will repeat the loop 50 times. Each loop has 2400 vertical. Runners have 9 days to compete the 500 miles. You must finish by Saturday, May 15th at 6 p.m.
Camping is free at the Amee Farm in Pittsfield. Tent camping is available but no showers. There are showers available for anyone who stays in the race barn. The race barn has showers, bunks, TV, fridge, bathrooms, and a large social area. Bunks are $25.00 per night. There are many state parks in the area that offer camping and lots of smaller motels and B & B's as well.
Entry fee includes Friday pasta dinner, Saturday morning breakfast, and Saturday night BBQ during the other ultra event. There will be a minimal fee for support crews interested in those meals. Self supported the rest of the way.
Easiest airports to fly into are Burlington, VT and Albany, NY.
