St. Therese Catholic Church proudly presents its 2nd annual Fall Festival 5K Run/Walk. Kids and parents will both enjoy the after-race festival! The wildly entertaining Fall Festival opens at 10:00am (race starts at 9:30am), and all race participants receive festival tickets to give the youngsters a jump-start on the fun, or use your tickets for lunch or beer tent. The course runs through adjacent neighborhoods to St. Therese Church, so it's spectator-friendly with very little traffic. Aid station at 1 & 2-miles.
When: 9:30am, Saturday, September 11
Where: St. Therese Catholic Church
2304 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN, 46819.
Located 1 block east of intersection of Bluffton Rd. &
Lower Huntington in Waynedale.
Course: 5K (3.1 miles) course loops through neighborhoods
adjacent to church on lightly traveled streets w/ start
& finish at St. Therese Church. Course is mostly flat
and is USATF certified.
Timing: Chip-timed by the Fort Wayne Track Club
Entry Fee: $15 on or before 8/28; $20 after 8/28. Race day
registration 7:30am-9:00am at the tent in front of
the gym.
Awards: Three Rivers Running Company gift certificate awards to
male & female top 3 overall. Age group awards to top 3 for both
male and female.
Age Groups: 10-under/11-14/15-19/20-29/30-34/35-39/40-44/45-49
/50-54/55-59/60-69/70+
T-Shirts: Fall Festival 5K T-shirts and Fall Festival game/food
tickets to all participants
After Race: The St. Therese Fall Festival opens at 10:00AM.
Entry fee includes tickets to get you started on the
fun. Stick around for lunch and the beer tent.
Facilities: Restrooms available inside church and school gym. No
showers will be available.
