Description:
Race: LogoThe proceeds from the Trent Steckel Memorial 5K Run/Walk will go to the Trent Steckel Scholarship Fund which will give an individual the opportunity to make a difference. It will help pay for their classes and training to enter the medical profession; to either become a firefighter or nurse. Trent Steckel had dreams of helping people and he was on the path of becoming a firefighter/paramedic when those dreams were cut short when he passed away in a motorcycle accident July 2010. Trent will forever be remembered for his contagious smile and enthusiastic love for life. This race was created for people to come show their love and support for Trent, to truly honor and celebrate his life. So please come on out for this great cause and bring your friends! Show people who may not have known Trent, what he was all about!
