I know that participating in a triathlon by swimming in an open lake, bicycling on park and county roads, running a road and/or trail race and making the transitions between those events is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I understand that if I do not abide by that decision the consequences may include, but are not limited to, barring me from entry in future Veep Races LLC events. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to: falls; contact with other participants; the effect of the weather, including precipitation and cold temperatures; traffic and the conditions of the road and trail, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. For my safety, I understand that radio headsets are not allowed in the race and I will abide by this guideline.
