Race Information Race Name: Reagan Fest Trail Run Date: Saturday August 25th, 2012 - 8:00 am Location: Eureka State: Illinois, United States Website: http://eurekaillinois.net/festivals/festivalshome.html  Go there or Go there in new browser Description: This years Reagan Fest Trail Run will feature two events, a 5k(ish) trail run and a .75 mile fun run for kids 12 & under. Like the past two years it will be run in conjunction with the Eureka Reagan Festival. There will post race food available. Once you are done, make plans to come back and enjoy the rest of the festivities at the Reagan Festival. Awards: (5k) Overall top male and female. Top male and female in each age division: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up. (Kids fun run) Overall boy and girl. Top boy and girl in each age division: 8 & under, 9-12 5K Course: The race will start in lower lake park behind the softball diamonds, follow a portion of the paved walking path before moving into the wooded trail area. There are some hills, but nothing unrunable & no water crossings. You will start and finish at the same point. Kids Fun Run Course: The kids race will start on the paved path, follow it, and circle back to the finish area of the 5k. Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration: Saturday Aug 27, 7:00am-7:50am Directions: From Old Rt. 24 turn east on Lake Rd and go two miles until you see the Lower Lake entrance, follow the signs to the start/finish area. From Rt. 117 turn west onto Lake Rd. and then take the first right (Lower Lake entrance).
