Running guru Hal Higdon calls it a "down-home country course," and he lists Easley Hill as one fo the 10 toughest climbs in the nation. Jay Nixon, current Governor of the State of Missouri, completed his first HOA in 1978. Forty-seven of the 50 states have been represented by at least one HOA finisher.
