We are collecting new and lightly used shoes and money to help support the Muncie Mission and A Better Way Services, two faith-based non-profit organizations that will use the shoes and proceeds to help the less fortunate and their homeless shelter programs. Registration for this race is unique, as it includes an option to donate new or used shoes to reduce your registration fee by $1 per pair for gently used shoes and $5 per pair for new shoes, up to $10 discount maximum (See details below). The race will run along the beautiful White River Greenway. Age group awards, post-race food, and music by local Christian band(s). An event for everyone! Making a difference one pair at a time! If donating shoes to reduce your entry fee, you must register and drop off shoes at Muncie Nissan at 501 W. McGalliard, Muncie, Indiana by September 22, 2012 during regular business hours, or late register at race on race day.
