	Fort Wayne Metals presents the Flight to Fight Blood Cancers 5K run/walk and 10K run to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Come join sponsors, The Fort Wayne/Allen County Airport Authority and The Fort Wayne/Allen County Economic Development Alliance, as this route takes us onto a runway at Fort Wayne International Airport! Enjoy free beer, food, and friends at the finish line, courtesy of our NEWEST sponsors Mad Anthony Brewing and Shigs-In-Pit BBQ! We will have some exciting opportunities for free registrations in 2013. Like our Facebook page to find out about these opportunities! Strollers welcome! Absolutely NO ANIMALS are permitted. EXCITING NEWS FOR 2013 - Both courses are set to be certified for the first time!! NON-RETURN OF CHIP FEE $30 All participants will be carded before receiving beer. Make sure you bring a VALID form of ID. All participants MUST be off of airport property by 11am.* All times are Eastern Standard No refunds available once registered View the run routes: 5K - www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=417742 10K - www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=417749 All routes take place on asphalt or concrete despite what appears on the satellite images as they have not been updated in several years. There may be some dirt/gravel areas to pass over in transition from the road to the runway. Packet pick-up will be Fri., April 12, 2013, at the race site from 5-8pm. There will be an ID check, if you plan to drink beer, to save you time on race day. Race day packet pick-up from 8-9am. Get your ID checked before the race starts to save you time. Pre-race day registration (5pm-8pm at packet pick-up)and race day registration (8am-9am only) will be available. 5K - $28 and 10K - $33. Only cash will be accepted and there is no guarantee of a t-shirt. SWAG bags guaranteed to the first 500.
