| | Description: | | | | | The Young Lawyers Association of Mid-Missouri is hosting the Second Annual Samantha Folkemer 5K run/walk/dog walk in honor and remembrance of colleague and friend, Samantha Folkemer, who succumbed to colon cancer on September 17, 2012, and to raise funds for genetic cancer research.
Samantha attended Stephens College and Washington University School of Law. She was an Assistant Attorney General at the Missouri Attorney General's Office in Jefferson City in the Consumer Protection Division in 2011-12. Samantha was the beloved wife of Nathan and mother of five-year-old Ophelia Ivy Joy. All net proceeds raised will go to Washington University School of Medicine Oncology Division for genetic cancer research.
Stephens Lake Park is located at 2001 E. Broadway. Race will start and end near the Gordon and Collins Shelters.

1) Packet pickup will be Friday, March 28 from 4 - 6 pm at Triathletics, located at 1605 Chapel Hill Rd, Columbia, MO 65203; (573) 447-2453. Packets and registration will also be available the morning of the race starting at 9:00 a.m.
2) Registration for children 10 and under is $10 and will automatically be applied during the online registration.
3) Registration payment by cash or check will be accepted the day of the race until 9:45 a.m. All checks should be made out to "Mid-Mo YLA," subject line "Folkemer 5K".
