September 19th for our 2nd annual 5K ! This year we are doing a costume run. Come dressed individually or with a group of friends in any fun costume of your choice (no scary costumes allowed because of children running)
(You do not have to dress in costume in order to participate)
3:30-4:30PM - Registration
5:00PM - Run/Walk begins
6:00PM - Awards given at Woodburn Park
WHERE: Race begins at Woodburn Shelter House Overmeyer St Woodburn, IN 46797
5K Run/Walk: Register online by August 22nd for guaranteed t-shirt for $20 . You may register day of event, but t-shirt is not guaranteed.
Awards will be given to the fastest man and woman in each age group! We will also hand out prizes for best individual costume and group costumes. Proceeds from our race will go towards GLoW Youth Center held at Woodlan Elementary to make an impact of the youth of the community of Woodurn. Thank you for your participation in making a positive impact on these kids.
Not a serious runner? No problem! We have our share of serious racers, but we have a lot of people like you who care about the kids in our community. Run it, walk it - we're all changing the community together.
Not a runner or walker? Come out to Woodburn and support those running by cheering them on! Check out the website for the race route and find your spot to cheer them on!
