| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | ![[logo: Run With Debby]](../images/logo/runWithDebby.jpg "The Debby Reese Memorial 3K Run/Walk") I am honored to announce the 3rd Annual Run With Debby 3K fundraiser on June 04, 2016. Proceeds from this event will be distributed equally between Hitch Elementary School and St. Tarcissus Elementary School to help children in the Gladstone Park Community. The run will be held in honor of the life and career of Deborah “Debby” Reese.
Ms. Reese was principal at Hitch School from 2004 to 2014. She dedicated her life to children, Hitch School, and the Hitch School community. She worked tirelessly to bring the community together and always sought ways to increase school funding opportunities and build community relationships.
The concept for this event emerged from a discussion I had with Debby three years ago to explore ways to secure funding for costly Promethean Board installations in the classroom.
Last year almost 200 runners/walkers joined us to make Debby's vision to bring the community together a reality. Let's double that number this year.
Please register by May 27, 2016 in order to secure a T-Shirt. We have shirts left over from last year and the year before; but there is no guarantee that we will have your size. The price is the same with or without a t-shirt; remember that this is a fundraiser for our local schools.
