| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Join the Algonquin Recreation Department in the fourth annual Harvest Hustle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 1, 2016. The race will feature a professionally timed 3.2 mile run and a 1.5 mile walk road course throughout downtown Algonquin. The race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m., with check-in and registration beginning at 7:30 a.m., at Historic Village Hall (2 South Main Street).
Pre-registration for the race is $20 per walker, $25 per runner, and is available online at Active.com. All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt for the event. Registration will also be available race day morning prior to the start.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall female runners and top three overall male runners with medals awarded to the top-run finishers in each age category.
All proceeds from the Hustle will benefit the Village scholarship program, Recreation for “ALL-gonquin.” This program is designed to help area youth participate in recreation programs offered by the Village at a discounted rate.
