| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Join us for the Race for the Green 5k run and 1 mile walk on October 1st. It begins in “downtown” Gates Mills at the Gates Mills Community House and travels along the scenic Chagrin River, passing many historic houses and scenic landscapes, and finishes at the Polo Field across from the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club.
All pre-registered participants will receive a race t-shirt, and a limited supply will be available for race day registrants. After the race, stick around to enjoy post-race refreshments, give aways, and an awards ceremony. We're awarding 74 medals after the race, so make sure you stick around to see if you placed in your age group!
Medals will be given to the first place male and female finishers, as well as the top three males and females in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 and over.
