| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | The Get Stuff Done 4 Kids “Who’s Your Hero 5K and Kids Fun Run” will take place at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary on Saturday, May 5th.
Who’s your hero? Superman? US president? Your child? Honor or dress as your hero during this fun event. Children can enjoy the Kids Fun Zone and hang out with Superheroes, play in the bounce house and have their faces painted. In addition to prizes for the top racers, our festive event will include lively music and Cinco de Mayo themed food from local establishments after the race.
Bring your family, come celebrate your hero and BE A HERO by helping us Get Stuff Done 4 deserving community Kids.
The Kids Fun Run starts at 8:15 and the 5K starts at 9:00 am.
(This event is good for competitive runners and casual runners/walkers alike.)
Get Stuff Done 4 Kids (GSD4Kids) is a small but big hearted 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that supports children who experience traumatic events including serious/life threatening illness, death of parent and financial misfortune. Our desire is to provide children basic essentials and the opportunity to partake in wonderful life experiences that may otherwise be unattainable due to limiting factors. Because we are strictly volunteer, every penny raised will directly benefit a child in need and make a true difference in their life. | | | | |
