Viewing Run Report Title: The Elk Grove Challenge - 2011 Date: Saturday August 13th, 2011 Author: Bill Thom Strong storms and overnight turbulent weather conditions surrendered to plenty of sunshine for The Elk Grove Challenge - 2011. In its 7th year this annual community race is fun for the whole family featuring events of the Foundation 5 Km Run, the Super Sprint Tri 12.8 Km for adults, the Kids Fun Tri 6.65 Km for 11 - 13 year-olds, and the Kids Fun Tri 3.33 Km for 7 - 10 year-olds. Presented by the Elk Grove Park District all events of The Elk Grove Challenge are directed by Claire Naughton and Mike along with their vast team of captains and volunteers. Major sponsorship is provided by Parkway Bank of Elk Grove. Timing and finish-line scoring was provided by RunRace.net.
