Viewing Run Report Title: North Country Run Date: Saturday August 27th, 2011 Author: Bill & Michelle Perfect north-country weather with plenty of sunshine and lazy breezes greeted runners of the 12th annual North Country Run. In its 2nd year under the direction of RD Chris Nicholas and his enthusiastic army of volunteers this 100% trail race features events of 50 Miles, 26.2 Mile Marathon, and 13.1 Mile Half Marathon. After a delightful day on the trails participants are greeted at the finish line and presented with their "gigantic finisher's medals" (largest in the state of Michigan - third largest in the United States).
