Viewing Run Report Title: 2012 Trail Mix Race Minnesota Date: Saturday April 21st, 2012 Author: Bill Thom 21st Annual Trail Mix Race - Minnesota In the words of original Race Director O.C. Williams, "the Trail Mix Race is like a martini... sometimes it's wet, and sometimes it's dry." Those words rang true for the 21st running of Trail Mix as race day began dry with threatening skies, but finished with sporadic, sometimes heavy showers. Temperatures remained cool for the entire day topping out in the mid-50s. Under the skillful control of new race directors Michael Gottschalk and Alex McKinney the 2012 Trial Mix enjoyed a "growth spurt" with more than 1040 eager runners taking on the hilly race course at Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington, MN.
