Viewing Run Report Title: 2010 Park Ridge Charity Classic 5K Date: Saturday September 25th, 2010 Author: Bill Thom "Park Ridge Charity Classic 5K" Our 33rd Annual Running! The winds of fall were blowing from the northwest at the 33rd Annual Park Ridge Charity Classic where over 400 runners raced the roads of this flat, fast, furious, 5 Km classic race course. Under skillful control of race director David Loomos (18th year) and his crew of volunteers the race started at 8:00 am, heading slightly downhill and northwest on Summit Avenue. Chasing a Park Ridge Police pace cycle the pack merged onto Busse Highway, barely bending before one dramatic 180° turn-around where it doubled back with the wind, finishing near the gates of Hinckly Park. Timing and finish-line scoring was provided by DRKomputing, Inc.
