First year for SORT'A MOUNTAIN STAGE RACE (AKA SAMS)

5 MILE TRAIL RUN/HIKE
13.1 TRAIL RUN TO SUMMIT ROUND TOP AND RETURN

AMAZING BACK DROP AT ONE OF THE TALLEST LITTLE MOUNTAINS IN INDIANA. CHALLENGING COURSE WITH 2800 FEET OF CLIMBING.

When: Saturday, September 11, 2021

1/2 Marathon Start @ 8:00 AM

5 Mile Start @ 8:15 AM

Bib/Packet Pickup available Friday 5PM Sept 10 @ Covered Bridge Golf Sellersburg Indiana

What: 5 Mile Trail Run/Hike on Knobstone Trail Starting @ MM0 out and back to MM2.5 course has rolling hills and view of lake from dam

1/2 Marathon Trail Run on Knobstone Trail starting @ MM0 out and back to the summit of Round Top @ 1001ft elevation. Technical terrain with around 2800ft of climbing. Hardest Half Marathon in Indiana.

Park: At MM0 which is Knobstone Trailhead and various additional parking is found @ the beach parking area.

Arrive: Ready to run @ 8AM

Bring Water and Nutriton especially for the 1/2 marathon as there is some distance between aid stations. See Map.
