| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | 2nd annual 5K race to benefit WOSP (Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej pomocy - The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity). This is a timed event taking place in Sugar Land Memorial Park along an easy, mostly flat pedestrian pathway. This is a fun, easy course - all ages and ability levels welcomed!
Your admission includes a finisher t-shirt, a chance to hang out with some very cool people, and that warm, fuzzy feeling that you get from helping out a great cause!
All profits to benefit WOSP - Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy - - Poland's longest running non profit organization dedicated to raising funds for specialty pediatric medical and diagnostic equipment. Established in 1993, WOSP, through volunteer events like our race, over the years raised over $321 million which was used to purchase life and health saving equipment for Polish hospitals and clinics. This year's fundraising efforts are dedicated entirely to pediatric ophthalmology. By running with us, you will be helping to improve life quality of countless Polish children and infants by restoring the gift of sight - now, that is seriously cool!
