A 35-minute `pause at aid station` was declared by RDs from 5:30 - 6:05. That's been lifted and now the skies are clearing, with a drier forecast for overnight hours. |

Scattered showers, which have persisted throughout the day, have intensified and created fast-moving washouts with unsafe currents along the trail near Camp Wokanda. Runners are advised to take shelter, but may keep moving at their own discretion. RDs Jenna and Shawn are taking action by drawing a rope across one particularly hazardous rivulet, to aid runners in keeping their balance while crossing. |
