| | | | | | Race Information | | | Description: | | | | | Join Scares That Care and Mettle Events at our 6th annual Scares That Care 5K and Kids Fun Run, part of our weekend long charity convention event, where you’ll hang out with friends, fans, and maybe a celebrity or two! Pose with fun “scary costumed creatures” roaming the post-race party for photo ops! Medals for ALL finishers, random prizes for awesome costumes, and other tricks and treats!

We are happy to offer Active Duty Military and Veterans a $6 discount (It's our 6th annual race!) on their individual 5K race registration. Thank you for your service. (Please read and follow the prompts on the registration page.)
The Kids Fun Run is open to children 12 and under. Parents of younger children are welcome and encouraged to accompany their children along the route. Parents do not have to be registered to do this.
The 5K is open for all ages. It is at the discretion of parents with young children, especially under 10, whether they are able to participate in the 5K. All persons on the 5K route must be registered for the 5K race.
