Description:
The Turkey Toss 5k will be held at Hawthorne Park Community Center in Porter, IN. Course is paved streets and bike trails.

Part of proceeds will be benefitting Friends of the Indiana Dunes (FOID).

SINCE 1982 THEIR MISSION IS TO ENHANCE AND FOSTER UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION AND ENJOYMENT OF THE INDIANA DUNES THROUGH FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT OF THE NATIONAL AND STATE PARKS AS WELL AS THE DUNES LEARNING CENTER. This race will feature "Turkey Bowling" using this 4 pound frozen turkey. Six lucky raffle winners will get a chance to bowl to win prizes. One raffle ticket will be in your goodie bag and extra tickets can be purchased for $1. You have two shots to knock down all the plastic bowling pins. If you obtain a strike or spare you win. Runners will received turkey hats
