RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE

I know that running an ultramarathon race is a potentially hazardous activity that could cause injury or death. I should not enter and run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained and, by my entering this event, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health, and am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I understand that this event is on the Ozark Trail, which is marker by fixed "OT" markers the entire distance of the trail and will have no additional temporary markers on the trail. I accept responsibility for my ability to follow the entire course relying solely on the fixed "OT" markers, maps of the trail, and descriptions of the trail. I understand that detailed maps and descriptions of this trail can be found on the Ozark Trail Association website: www.ozarktrail.com. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, contact with volunteers, contact with race equipment, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity and/or extreme cold and/or rain, sleet, hail, snow or ice, traffic and the conditions of the road and trail, encounters with wild or domestic animals, getting off the trail/making wrong turns/missing turns, and damage to or loss of drop bags and/or contents of drop bags and any other clothing or running gear, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this RELEASE OF LIABILITY and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the race directors and volunteers, U.S. Forest Service, Bass River Resort, HAM radio operators, and any event sponsor, their representatives and successors, from any and all claims of negligence arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to race management to use any photographs, recordings, or other records of my participation in this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that the race directors have the right to refuse any entry and that my registration fee for this event is non-refundable. I also understand that there are no rolled entries or transfer of entries allowed for this event.

Required... enter the total number of participating members for your team. You as Team Captain, plus the number of teammates that will compete for your relay team.
Example... Let's say your team is made up of you, plus four teammates.
