Other duties not listed that we'll all do: refill water jug, handing out samosas to stumblers at the start of each round, timer duties, puke investigator, beg and convince stumblers to quit, "I quit" bell operator, substitute referee, round# artist/model, etc
Volunteer Schedule:
*HIGH NEED!* 3:30PM - 4PM: Setup! (decorate samosa zone, chalk the course, prep the tables)
*VERY HIGH NEED!* 4PM - 5PM: Stumbler BIB check-in (hand out race bibs to stumblers as they arrive, check their names from the master list, have stumblers write their names and bib# & pin on the main "stumbling" board))
*VERY HIGH NEED!* 5PM - ???: Stumbler loop check offs (you will check off stumblers who come back from their loop before the cutoff. If a stumbler comes too late, or quits - put an X instead of checkmark and tell the REFEREE - Craig)
NOTE*** If you're planning on helping out LATE (after 9pm), bring a headlamp or some other kind of lighting. It will get dark!
Volunteers will be provided drinks, maybe some samosa stumble swag, and all you can eat samosas for the duration of the event!
I'll contact you a week prior to the event to coordinate a good schedule for us.
