The Jones Elementary School Family Teacher Organization is thrilled to announce an exciting new winter tradition for our community! Join us for a spirited running event to brighten the cold mountain winter and bring neighbors together.
Mark your calendars for February 28th, 2026 , when we'll host our inaugural winter race through the beautiful North Asheville neighborhood. Whether you're a seasoned runner looking for a challenge or a family wanting to enjoy some fresh mountain air together, we have options for everyone.

* 8K Run Perfect for runners seeking a moderate challenge through our scenic neighborhood streets. Chip timed.
* 1 Mile Fun Run Ideal for families, kids, and walkers of all fitness levels. Chip timed.
