The 14th Annual Joe Mittel Memorial Mile and Dick King 5,000 Meter Races were held at Riis Park Chicago. I've uploaded a YouTube video featuring Laura Jayne, Si's granddaughter. Laura ran her first 5K. She joins her family in a strong running tradition. An accomplished martial arts competitor, Laura did very well! A group of Northwestern University runners and local runners of all ages ran in the races. Northwestern Runners are pictured in the video also, and well-represented.
