Eileen-Door County Half Marathon!
Eileen sent me a note about her participation in the May 5th Door County Half Marathon.
"...The Door County race is on scenic roads through Peninsula Park. It's hilly and there are nice views of Green Bay (the bay, not the city) I took a shuttle to the starting area.
In Springfield we started in front of the Lincoln Library and toured historic areas -- Lincoln's house, law office, and tomb, the old state house, other neighborhoods and the botanic park.
I finished 5 minutes faster in May - 2:46:30 vs 2:51:59 in April. First place woman in my age group finished an hour ahead of me. I was fourth of five." CONGRATS, EILEEN!!
