Chicago Half Marathon 9/9/2012
This is a race that I enjoy doing each year. Unfortunately, my sign-up came via a trip to Navy Pier on packet pick-up the Friday before the Sunday start. The weather was great--better than it's been in years. Feel vindicated by finishing. Hey, I'm slow like a turtle. But, finishing at all was extremely rewarding. The red shirt with the city skyline & U.S. flag is very cool. The medal-ribboned with our great City of Chicago flag.
