RPS Honored at City Hall & Council mtg by Mayor Rahm Emanuel & 30th Ward Alderman Reboyras
We were delighted and honored to be photographed with Mayor Rahm Emanuel. This was organized through the 30th Ward Alderman Ariel Reboyras and his staff, notably-Lucy! The Alderman proposed "Riis Park Strider Day" on our upcoming 40th Anniversary of June 29, 2016. We've been running for 40 Years! Many thanks to the Alderman, Lucy, and the City of Chicago's Mayor's Office for this memorable event. We wouldn't have been a Club that lasted for 40 years without the members, board and Fearless Leader's organized races all these years.
