Track Town USA - Eugene, Oregon
My daughter and I traveled to Eugene, Oregon for family business. On arrival we spotted the Oregon Track Team display at the airport! We were fortunate & thrilled to be given a tour of the University of Oregon's Track Town & Hayward Field by my family. The Eugene Marathon had just concluded when we arrived, and we saw runners with their medals at EUG. Here's a runner at Hayward that came over to chat. He had been running on that field since the '50s. We visited a local XC site. Beautiful there for XC & stories of Pre.
