Riis Park Striders 2016 Thanksgiving Races (Nov. 24, 2016)
Thanks to all participants who joined us in our 46th Annual Riis Park Striders Thanksgiving XC Races: The 21st Annual Joe Mittel Memorial Mile (9:45AM); and the Dick King 5,000 Meter Championship Race (10AM). Team Challenge Winners: 1st Place, Riis Park Striders. 2nd Place, Shamrock TC. Overall Winner-Men: John Craig. Overall Winner-Women: Teresa Meija. Participant Teams: Red Panda Raiders, Don Amidei TC, along with the Riis Park Striders and Shamrock TC. Further details will be provided in a few days by Fearless Leader via his official Race Report. Many thanks to our volunteers and RPS race team crew, including Judith Ragusa, mother of Joe Mittel, for her generosity in donating prizes for the winners.
