Fleet Feet : Women's Festival 5K / 10K
Michelle laced up and toed the line with some 3,000 other chicks all taking part in the annual Fleet Feet Women's Festival 5K & 10K. Cool and dry conditions with temperatures in the low 60's ruled the morning lakefront course near Montrose Harbor. The races started concurrently at 7:30 am, and followed the same general course until the 5K runners diverged and headed for the common finish chute.
Michelle finished 20th overall and 2nd in her age group with a time of 20:23.
