Race Information Race Name: Green Lakes Endurance Runs 2009 Date: Sunday August 30th, 2009 - 6:00 am Location: Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville State: New York, United States Website: http://gleruns.org/  Go there or Go there in new browser Description: The 50 km race is four laps and the 100 km race is eight laps of the 12.5 km trail loop course that includes shaded shoreline around scenic lakes, steep ascents and descents through upland forest, and panoramic views from rolling meadows. The course is reasonably fast yet deceptively challenging. The course lies within Green Lakes State Park just east of Syracuse, New York. There is a 87.5 km cut-off at 6:00 p.m. and the race course closes at 8:30 p.m.. Event #4 in the Western New York Ultra Series. Race Field Limits: 150 total both races. Registraion closes early if race field limit is reached.
