| | | | | Race Information | | Description: | | | | | "Going in Circles" Our 7th Year Running!
Fundraiser, proceeds to benefit two worthy causes... the historic Norwood Park Train Depot and Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation. The 5K Run features Norwood Park's unique Circle Avenue, a street designed as an oval, which features many landmark homes.
Our course is a unique 3-lap spin around Circle Avenue... it's basically flat and fast with no sharp turns!
USATF certified... Race starts and finishes near the intersection of West Circle Avenue and Northcott Avenue.
Online registration is available under the "Registration" tab (click above) and is open through Friday October 26th - 11:59 pm. For registration information click the "Registration" tab above.
Afterwards... hang out with us for refreshments and our awards ceremony with raffle prizes, held at the nearby Norwood Park Train Depot.
Awards for 2012... "Going in Circles" will present awards to top Age Group Finishers!

40 - 49 Male and Female
50 - 59 Male and Female
60 - 69 Male and Female
70 - Up Male and Female
For 2012... "Going in Circles" has a prize purse of $820!
$100 for Open Male and Female Champions, $65 for 2nd Place Open Male and Female, $40 for 3rd Place Open Male and Female.
(Note: Open are defined as runners of age 39 and under)
$100 for Masters Male and Female Champions, $65 for 2nd Place Masters Male and Female, $40 for 3rd Place Masters Male and Female.
(Note: Masters are defined as runners of age 40 and over)
Packet pick up will take place from 7:30 am to 8:45 am at our race start / finish location near the intersection of NE Circle Avenue & Nina Avenue.
Help us help others... "Going in Circles" is collecting shoes for Africa. We'll have a drop-box for your used or out-grown running shoes at our runner check-in area. Shoes may be any brand or size with no cracks in the soles. We appreciate your generosity!
