The Drake Well Marathon is back for 2024!! It is set to take place on August 18, 2024.
There is a Virtual Race option this year as well! Be sure to choose the correct option at check out.
$200 TO OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE IN FULL MARATHON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The in-person full marathon race is a BOSTON QUALIFIER!!
!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!!
THIS YEAR THE RACE WILL BE A "CUPLESS" EVENT.
EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A COLLAPSIBLE SILICONE CUP AT REGISTRATION THAT CAN VERY EASILY FIT IN A RUNNER'S BELT OR A POCKET.
Full Marathon includes:
- 1/4 zip pullover
- finishing medal
- headband (buff)
Half Marathon includes:
- short sleeve t-shirt
- finishing medal
- headband (buff)
Virtual Marathon ***Runners MUST run their route between August 4,2024- August 18, 2024. If you choose to wait until August 18, then your finish time MUST be before 1:30pm as this is the official finish time of the race. You MUST send your GPS information to the race director by August 23, 2024 to be eligible to receive your virtual finishers awards by mail.

The Drake Well Marathon course will take you through the main streets of Titusville, Pennsylvania and then down the banks of historic Oil Creek. The majority of this race will be nicely shaded for a hot August morning. This is a small-town race with a community of amazing volunteers ready to cheer you on. Running through the canopy and the beauty of the Oil Valley makes for a memorable race. We also plan to help bring the Titusville community together through this event. The proceeds from the Drake Well Marathon benefit the Friends of Drake Well, Inc.
