Ah, autumn with its crisp, sometimes blustery weather... ideal for lacing-up the spikes and taking to cross country. In this annual gathering, regional teams meet on the USATF certified course at Harms Woods in Skokie, Illinois for all-comers and team-contested cross country racing. Hosted by the Evanston Running Club, directed by John Hennelly with his energetic team of volunteers, this meet features many of Chicagoland's fastest 5-kilometer runners doing what they do best... on grass
!
Conditions at race time, 11:04 am CST: cloudy, 44° F, 51% humidity, SW winds at 19 mph.
