26.2 BY 5 TEAM MARATHON
A Great Team Event!
Race Information:
This is a great team event that creates camaraderie within your team and fun competition between your team and your friends teams. Pick a cool name for your team, and come join the fun. As always in the races held here, this is a race that celebrates the running life.
Free entry for all 18 and under teams, and 18 and under solo. This event is in compliance with all IHSA regulations.
Raceourse Information:
The course is a scenic 5.24 mile loop on country black top roads. Race starts and ends about 100 yards west of Putnam County Jr. High School. Race will be a chip timed with gun start.
Team Information:
Five-member teams will consist of 5 runners, all male, all female, or mixed... combined time of five runners determines team results.
Couples teams will consist of one female and one male... combined time of both runners determines team results.
Solo, for those with no friends... finish time determines overall placing and potential divisional results.
The times of individual team members will be totaled for a team time to determine the Division winners.
This is not a relay. All runners will start at the same time at the gun, and will cover the 5.24-mile racecourse.

Check in / Packet Pickup:
Race-day registration and packet pickup is available from 8:45AM until 9:30AM in the tent near the start/finish area. All runners are required to sign in on race day.
Awards:
Awards will be presented to top three teams in each division. Chili & soda available after run. Showers available.
