Aid Stations / Turnarounds...
Aid stations will be volunteer-staffed, fully stocked with fluids, fruit, and high-energy snacks to keep you going. Aid stations may not have energy gels; plan accordingly.
Jackson Park, 63rd Street Beach House serves as our start/finish and "South Turnaround" aid station. This is a volunteer-staffed, fully-stocked station. Runners will have access to their drop bags at this location.
Burnham Park, located near Oakwood Blvd/39th St, west side of pedestrian path serves as our midway station, which runners will pass through twice on each 10.3-mile lap. This is a volunteer-staffed, fully-stocked station. Its distance is 3.6 miles from the 63rd Street Beach House, and 3.0 miles round trip to/from the North Turnaround point.
"North Turnaround", located approximately 1/4 mile north of 31st Street Beach on the pedestrian path marks the northern-most point of our racecourse. There is no aid station; keep an eye open for the markings, make a U-turn, and head back south on the path.

Drop Bag Area...
There will be a designated drop bag area near the start/finish at 63rd Street Beach House, which provides access to runners' gear at completion of each out-n-back lap. Drop bags might not be covered, opened to elements of the weather, so consider water-proof packing.

Greener with your help...
In the spirit of eliminating one-use landfill waste, Chicago Lakefront Ultras encourages all runners to participate with hydration methods. Please bring your own water bottle, vest, reusable cup, etc. At runner check-in participants may request a foldable silicon cup, which is ideal for carrying and refilling at aid stations.

First place overall male and female will earn a very special recognition award. Age group achievers will earn pint-glass podium awards based upon 10-year divisions and depth of participation.

Spectators and Crew Support...
With regards to USATF Rules and Regulations, crew support is only allowed at official/designated aid stations. Crews and spectators must be aware/careful/considerate of others, such as pedestrians, runners, bikers as the lakefront path is open to the general public.
