At 5:00 pm volunteers began race set up along Hurlbut St, on the southeast side of Norwood Park. Soon participants arrived and bustled through check-in, packet pickup, and over to our starting areas. Greetings and last-minute instructions were provided to 5-Km featured event participants. Michelle Thom, six-year co-RD of Chicago Full Moon Run, called the field
"To your mark,"
fired the bullhorn siren
at 7:31:41.25 pm. Runners burst westbound, along Hurlbut Street for their two-lap race.
Five minutes later, 132 meters farther west on Hurlbut Street, perpetual race volunteer, Ian Stevens sounded the air-horn, this time at 7:36:41.75 pm, sending 1-Mile Lunar Orbiters to the roads on their adventure.
Congratulations to our top runners...
